I woke up at 5am this morning, because the rain was hammering down outside and woke me up.

I just had this feeling something terrible had happened, then I saw the news.

This is a sad day. Few artists can transcend genre's, but Bowie did it. He just had his own sound, his own genre, refusing to be pigeonholed which made him unique.
