Yeah, any article that isn't just forum posts is what I mean by this.
That excludes:

- Comedy Goldmine
- Photoshop Phriday

My favorite is Susan G Komen: Always the Worst , because Parsons is pretty funny when he's being angry at lovely people.

Fashion SWAT is what brought me to this site, and I look forward to the Halloween edition every year :allears:

Wtf, D&D? Is also pretty funny, at least from the perspective of someone who's never played the game before.

What really got me into this site like a million years ago was the movie reviews they used to do still do apparently so here's a few of my favorites (read: ones I remember now years later):

Jack Frost 2 - this movie scared me when I was a kid so reading someone taking the piss out of it was pretty cool.
Quote from the review - '...realizes that their bonfire on the beach is dying down. She does the only sensible thing at that point, which is to get up and "look for coal." Once again, I'd like to point out the fact that despite the massive amounts of brain damage I suffered while watching this film, I am NOT making this up. If I was, believe me, I'd make it a hell of a lot less stupid.'

Cyber Seduction - It's like reading a comedy review of a movie about my life!
Quote from the review - 'If a normal kid ruins his life after viewing stuff so tame, I guess that makes the rest of us some sort of porno supermen, impervious to its death rays. I'm not sure if this is actually such a great attribute, but I'll take it.'

Las Vegas Blood Bath - Gore movies sure are gory huh?
Quote from the review - 'DO NOT CLICK ON THIS LINK IF YOU ARE NEAR ANYTHING REMOTELY RESEMBLING A "JOB," EVEN IF YOU’RE JUST AT YOUR RICH AUNT’S HOUSE GETTING READY TO MOW THE LAWN OR SOMETHING!!!'

I added some quotes because it was a fun excuse to skim some of these old reviews again.

My favorite articles are a pair of teleplay scripts for the surrealist detective show Yellowjacket Greenapple, which was in turn inspired by one particular clothing ad in this Retro Fashion SWAT. You can also see the model for The Optimist in that SWAT.

Well, that's one of my favorites. Gimme a while to remember more, I have a ton.

Current Releases was hilarious even if it was entirely unintentional and at the expense of the people writing it, I really wish they hadn't quit when they had to start letting FYAD do guest reviews.

As the sanitizer fumes whisk you away on your vape quest, you will begin to see the world as it truly is: seething with a living sheath of filth. Humans, animals, places all covered in germs. Here's an old favorite of mine. Henchman Status Updates, done by Zach Parsons. Each article has an evil mastermind silently review their henchman temp agency's updates on their recent hires after their most recent nefarious deed. You are left to piece together how the evil plan went down. They never got collected into a proper series, so here are the rest. Read along and watch as the fortunes of Adverse Interests, LLC rise and fall. Mostly fall.

Came here to post this, so Instead I'll toss out TerrorBear. It's a nice black humor horror type article.

quote:

Yesterday the TerrorBear spun 180 degrees to literally rip a white-tailed deer in half before launching its carcass up into the treetops. It was at this moment that we got our first glimpse of this abomination's face. His* (we're assuming it's a male) eyes were solid white with no discernible pupils, iris, cornea, etc. Most of the features of the face were standard affair as far as structure goes.

One thing worth noting, and this is a pretty startling discovery: a steady stream of tiny black spiders appear to be constantly flowing from the mouth of the TerrorBear. I have no explanation for this phenomenon, but can say indefinitely that I will never sleep again having seen the things I've seen in the last 24 hours."

Oh, I forgot all about the Awful Movie Database. I love all the little things about it that perfectly pastiches IMDB, like how all the plot tags have been co-opted by creepy fetishists create a catalog people can browse to find every movie featuring puppets with hair, and women brushing the hair of a puppet. The AMD articles have layers.
