Given the culture of the community, it rather seems like being active means being a frequent purchases, and of course, we have the whales who compensate for the community “free-riders”. It's still just the average high-engagement community member splashing out on something that the hive mind considers a very minor payment either once on salary payday, or every fourth wage pay-check they get. Is it sustainable? No, because it's still only just scraping by what they need, and at some point they will have to start delivering or more and more of these people will stop that monthly injection. But do the number of daily sales make sense in terms of feasibility or being realistic? Absolutely. The really scary thing: other than continuing to trust in some eventual delivery, it doesn't even require that much stupidity on the Citizens' part.
