We use it to look at the bottom of the boat, especially the propellers and impellers, without going swimming, as well as checking the underside of the car, the top of cabinets, inside AC vents. It's not the most obvious thing, but it really does help a surprising amount if you have enough work for it, like you run ethernet cables frequently.
