And yea, hyperbole aside, so long as there's something else to actually be the focus of the game it's probably OK, but invariably the stuff that actually hypes of procedurally generated XYZ is using that in place of actual content, and not as a background/suplement to it.

I can agree with that, make sure its fun before procedurally generating everything
