In the meantime ive discovered that since the last time i fired up ED, you can now in fact install additional fuel tanks in internal module slots.
I also traded my dropship for an Assault Ship and went to do some actual space combat instead of staring at 500$ jpgs.

I strongly consider dropping 5 bucks for a palette of 6 paint jobs for my cobra, am i a bad person?

If youre looking for x-wing vs. tie-fighter style, no. Nothing like that. Its not arcady, its very sim-y. Ive lost a few million bucks to lazy landings or takeoffs, simply because its not handholding you. Like crashing my loving clipper with 50 tons of platinum into the docks because i was tired and wanted to do one more run and misjudged the acceleration of my new thrusters. Combat is... how to put it, "clean". Not very flashy crash-boom-bangy. If youve played Star Conflict, its the exact opposite of that. Everything you do, from a cargo run to a pirate hunt is a meassured, calculated and executed affair rather than "just played" if you know what i mean.

If youre solo, it can get a bit boring. In a group its awesome.
Even flying escort in 2 vipers for a python with a cargo hold full of rare ore thats all of a sudden being pulled out of hyperdrive by a pirate-anaconda with 2 support cobras is when the game is worth every cent.
When doing 6 hours of uninterrupted cargo-runs for money, it can get stale. But then again, its your fault for not blowing things to bits instead.

And they need to do that how many times? Sorry, can't buy it because this isn't the first time. Love CIG however, the live demonstrations need to mature if they're going to continue doing them. Like the dates they give, I think they are so optimistic that everything will go to plan there's very little risk/contingency/bullet proofing the planned live content.
