Look I get that you want to square the circle of downplaying the worth of your investment while maintaining your belief in Chris and CIG, but to the rest of us, they're interrelated. If your cash is worthless to you, then you don't need to demand transparency and reaffirmations or any of that stuff. If you expect things in return for your payments, you don't get to claim complete faith in somebody who always manages to fail every goal he sets for himself.

Contact someone you know in real life that you trust, someone who hasn't backed Star Citizen, gently break it to him/her that you've put $6000 into a $60 computer game that was due out 2 years ago. The reason I'm advising you to break it to them "gently" is that they are likely going to have an extreme reaction, what you have done is not logical and they'll be very concerned for your mental welfare.

I suspect you won't though because deep down you already know this and talking about us being "mean to the poor multi millionaire Chris Roberts" is just deflection from the real issue.

I've given six hour probations to a grand total of three people who didn't literally ask for one so they could have a picture of my dog in their rap sheet. Of those three, one was a poster deliberately trying to troll the thread with a lame gimmick, and two had shown up just to tell FAU he was an rear end in a top hat - something that's probably best kept to PMs if you really must. That's it. Any other probations I've given are from the "post here to get a picture of Kayak/Legman in your rap sheet" thread. There was a QCS thread that existed specifically for folks to go and bitch about things that happen here, and I asked a poster to take his grievances there because there was legit discussion going on (before it turned into a weird nightmare Autism Battle Arena).

I actually love this dead gay thread, and have no intention of crushing anything under my bootheel, because Chris Roberts won't pony up a Bengal and I can't be bought for anything less than the best.
