Technos (makers of River City Ransom) made a ton of sports games, only two of which got released in the US(Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge and Nintendo World Cup), always stripped of any association with the other "kunio-kun" games. I really like the hockey game.

IntiCreates is an indie dev that made the Mega Man Zero games, got their own blue-dude-led 2D-action game out while MN9 is still stuck in development, and they're also developing Bloodstained for Iga, so they're cool.

Plague of Shadows was probably one of the best "games" I have played all year, even if it's an expansion. the new sprites they created for Plague Knight and Mona dancing are just absolutely awe inducing. Whether it's free or delivering on kickstarter promises or what, I could feel the love and commitment they had to their game, and that's the only thing that I give a poo poo about. It's great and I'm looking forward to the other knights they intend to make playable.

I got one piece pirate warriors 3 and it's pretty good. It's my first musou game and I kind of like it despite of its shallowness. The game also does a good job of telling the original manga story through the game, but I think it could get kind of hard to understand most things if you don't know the original story. Otherwise the genre fits perfectly the One Piece setting, and I'm really glad there is finally a great one piece game to enjoy.

That Laserdisc thing really blows my mind because the format has always looked like complete dogshit. No one ever liked it. Why would that kid get it in his head that Laserdisc would be a cool way to watch Psycho??? Cripes.

Especially since my dad and I used to play Mario all the time. I barely beat a couple igavania games and Kirby all-star. 3D action games though? Gimme Devil May Cry or a Souls game any day. I remember loving starting new characters in Demons Souls because if you beat the tutorial boss, you get punched to death by a giant dragon. Speaking of, anyone else super pumped about the Dragons Dogma port?

At the time the alternative was VHS which was a putrid format that did not hold quality (SVHS behaved way better, but there were no commercial SVHS tapes in parts of the world), and until DVD there was no real alternative to Laserdisc (lol to the cd-i videocd).

My parent's TV has a bunch of pre-programmed names for each port and the HDMI port got LaserDisc attached to it. That's my LaserDisc story.

My excitement for the Dragon's Dogma port is dependent on if it will have mods or not. I love the game, but I don't really feel like playing through the same thing all over again even if it's no longer a chugfest whenever tornadoes or lightning are on the screen.

I think the engine is somewhat moddable, it'll probably depend on the community. DD has always had a pretty dedicated fanbase though, so I'd be surprised if it didn't get a Nexus page at least Also if you can't get something to play The Song soon after release alot of people are going to be upset
