Hopefully the CW isn't as stingy about making episodes available on their site because of things like this. I remember last year when Gina Rodriguez was nominated for a GG and people who didn't even give Jane the Virgin the time of day were kinda left out in the cold for a while before they started airing reruns or something. But drat, grats to Rachel, nomination is well loving deserved. It's a shame she also has to face off against Gina.

The explicit version of that song actually cut out my favorite joke. I just thought that "To be clear, your parents want to have sex with me." was way funnier than "Yeah, your folks pretty much wanna gently caress me."

Bloom has said it's a show about how love makes people crazy, so it's interesting to see how some of the different characters aside from Rebecca are carrying some obvious baggage. Paula's failed marriage drives her into obsession to make Rebecca and Josh the OTP she never got. Valencia's previous experiences make women an uncontrollable backstabbing variable (like Rebecca) and men a point of stability that she needs to maintain dominance over (like Josh). Josh's relationship with Valencia he's had since high school is both the cause and product of him being completely unable to make decisions for himself, and needing approval from someone like Father Brah. Greg mentions in the first episode that Rebecca ignoring him makes her obviously his type, and in Settle For Me and in the holiday episodes where we see him with his parents, he clearly has some abandonment issues he's projected onto his mom that are affecting how he approaches relationships.
