A fresh attitude
brewed daily!
Yeah, stable enough to get back into this. Got some spare cash to burn on goons.

Gift Preferences: Board games, card games (like Love Letter, etc), or other similar games that would be suitable for 2-5 players. I'm also an EFL teacher, so something I can use in the classroom would be pretty cool. Otherwise, I fancy myself an amateur cook, so spices are a plus. I'm also looking to sticker-bomb my car, so decals and stickers would be much appreciated. I've also just ordered the starter set for Netrunner and will be giving that a go soon. Summoner Wars has also piqued my interest.

I'm a big miniatures/war-gaming guy; though right now that's on hold as there isn't a scene in my city, and shipping my collection to me would be a hassle. If you want to send me little tiny men, then historicals are a sure bet, though I've been eye-balling Frostgrave recently. Models are another thing that I'm into, so any kind of model kit will work (up to and including Gunpla - though I have a UC bent when it comes to that).

:siren::siren::siren:DO NOT GIVE GW MONEY!:siren::siren::siren:

Though, if you have an old copy of some GW Historicals rules (especially Tralfagar) or some old BFG ships lying around that you want to alight, I'll be willing to take on the burden of ownership.

Other restrictions: Don't send food or alcohol, as I"m not sure it'll clear customs if it survives the journey here. No RPGs, there's really no scene here (and my 中文 isn't good enough to play with the local D&D groups).

I already own the basic set of Fluxx and "Happy Birthday, Robot", and I do already have a Mahjong set.

General location: Taiwan

Vow: I hereby oath to perform my duties and not grinch anybody. This is not to be taken as a guarantee that there won't be dongs.

Grimey Drawer
I am in!

I live in sunny Ukraine but please don't send me stuff in Russian or Ukrainian. English-language stuff only please if there's any significant text in your gift.

I like: Boardgames, miniature mans, general nerd stuff that you think is cool and/or funny. I'm not super fussy about what kind of stuff, I'll find a use for everything from super-grognardy ubercomplex beard-stroking simulators down to fluffy, babby's first TG type stuff. I sometimes paint stuff up and I'll generally paint anything that looks col even if I don't play that system or army so that's all cool. I've been around for a while so I have pretty much all the generic supplies that I'll ever need so if you feel a burning need to send me dice or tape-measures or whatever then they should be rad dice or tape-measures or whatever.

I don't like: Animes. Fireflies, giving GW money.

Vow: I will do my best to make my Santee not regret signing up. Maybe there'll be something extremely cool, maybe it will just not suck very much. You should not peg your future happiness to my Santa performance levels.

Eeeeey! I've got both money and I'm getting back into the hobby of minis!

Gift Preferences Probably mostly miniatures! I play Warmachine currently (Cygnar, but anything cool looking is sweet.) and some miscellanious stuff. Currently on a post-apoc/fallout style kick, so anything appropriate to that would be great too. I also just like to paint, so just random minis will probably make me happy too. A fistful out of a bones pledge you'll never end up using shoved in a box? Random kit? I'll be ecstatic. Surprise me with cool things even if I haven't listed them.

Special restrictions I have all the dongs I require. You should probably not give GW money. I don't myself. Also probably not animes.

The pawsting business is tough work.
Dear Santa, please make me Ettin's secret Santa so I can send him a tuna sandwich or something by slow boat.

Preferences: I have gotten into painting minis and Infinity specifically, so any Infinity stuff of any kind would be awesome. Failing that, if it's cool to paint, it's cool with me. Also painting supplies would be a delightful present.

I'm pretty set on RPGs, but if there's a sweet boardgame you've got a line on, that'd be nice.

Otherwise, novelty is good! As long as your mail-dong is suitably spectacular it's cool with me.

Stuff I Want:
- Well, last time I posted here I was still waiting for the Exalted 3e KS to deliver. Got the PDF now though, and I have no idea how to track Initiative now. Any playaids, dice, or cool poo poo to make me look like the cool kid on the block would be awesome.
- Hey, how do you feel about card game? Well, I've been playing Force of Will and it's been treating me pretty well. Force of Will would be cool.
- Pasta, I guess. Uncooked though...
- Or weird as poo poo movies. Even if it's on Netflix.

Stuff I want:
Board Games, Books, Lego and random geeky stuff are good.
I'm just about to buy a flat, so something cool and geeky to decorate would be cool.
BGG Collection
Goodreads (books) read list (requires Goodreads membership)
Amazon.co.uk WishList (I think most things are a little over the price-limit, but should give you an idea of who I am!)

Stuff I'm not so hot on:
Electronic stuff like video games, pdfs, etc; I like physical things.
Anything creepy/NSFW (although my work is a very liberal place!)

Oh! OSHA gonna make you serve time!
'Cause you an occupational hazard tonight.
I don't really go to SA anymore, but Leperflesh emailed me and TG Secret Santa is one of my favorite things ever, so here I am back for my third year!!

Gift Preferences: I love board games and RPGs, and also play Netrunner and Lord of the Rings LCG! You can check out my board game wish list here and my DTRPG wishlist here for an idea of what I've got my eye on. Generally, though, I like heavier board games and more indie RPGs, and while I have a lot of both, most of the RPGs I have are in PDF format and print copies are always fun.

I also just started getting into Malifaux! I've never done minis before, so I am definitely lacking stuff like brushes, paints, that kind of thing (EDIT: I now have some brushes and paints, thanks to a Santa!), and I only have four boxes at this point (Sonnia Criid, Tara, Toni Ironsides, and Jakob Lynch).

Generally, though, I'm open to a lot of stuff, and if you think it's fun, I'll probably think it's fun too!

General Location: San Francisco, where I'll probably live until the ridiculously high rent forces me to move! YAY!

Solemn Vow: I actually got Leperflesh as my santee last year and managed not to gently caress it up, and I promise I'll treat you as well as I treated him! Or better!

YISSSS!!!

Dear Santa, my name is Jassi and I'm drunk a good boy.

Gift Preferences My group has really been enjoying board games. We're primarily Magic the Gathering players, but in the last year we've really enjoyed Lords of Waterdeep, Ticket to Ride, and X-wing:TMG. We also like Cards Against Humanity. I have Yedo from last years Secret Santa, but I'm working my gaming group up to that. Things that would rock, some games that are easy to set up, play, and take down in 2-4 hours. We like a good game to go for most of our evening, but to be "casual" easy to grock, etc.

Outside of Boardgames, X-Wing TMG is great, I don't have anything past wave 5, Magic packs/accesories are always cool also.

Not intersted inDeckbuilder type games like Netrunner. We have magic for all of our card-gaming needs. rpg's at this time, no video games etc.

General Location Western PA

Solemn Vow I am not a dick, and will not grinch anyone. This will be my 3rd TGSS and I look forward to more wonderful gift exchanging!

Gift Preferences: I play mostly miniatures games and RPGs and paint a lot of minis. I also like weird or OOP miniatures and TCGs/CCGs along with strange and or corny/kooky stuff. I always need terrain for my table which is loosely Asian themed. I also like LCGs and Deck Builders, I can't really do any new board games right now because TBH my group has a huge backlog. Minis games I play are Malifaux, SAGA, Osprey Games in general (I don't have Frostgrave tho), and DUST. RPGs I've been playing are FFG Star Wars, Through The Breach, IKRPG and oWoD. I'm just really easy going in general though so don't work too hard.

Got ya.

Today was extremely slow and yesterday wasn't that busy. I'm a little worried to be honest... normally we get several goons a day signing up at this point.

I don't want to just spam a bunch of TG threads. But, if you know a TG goon that you're pretty sure would want to participate, feel free to PM them and let them know that it's time for TG Secret Santa! A lot of people seem to just stick to their bookmarks list and not browse this forum often, so I bet some folks just haven't realized it's time.

Right now we have 42 goons signed up which of course is enough to do TGSS regardless. I just think more is merrier!

Gift Preferences: I am really into Mordheim, Blood Bowl, and trying to get into Kings of War and Bolt Action since those are the big games at my FLGS. I try to play Undead factions in almost any tabletop game I can. I also like board games and really enjoy tabletop RPGs. (please don't be a dick and buy me FATAL) Clothes should be sized XL. Other than that, as long as it's not a dong, I don't really care. I own all of the Blood Bowl video games and don't care for the Mordheim vidya. I also don't like Deckbuilding games.

General Location: Ala-loving-bama (send me a Lynyrd Synyrd album and I will rip your loving balls off)

Boys! Boys! Boys!
I have never done secret santa for TG before. Normally just stick around on the gift train for steam sales, but with a new job means new income and that means I can actually buy gifts for people.

Preferences: I like RPGs, particularly the 40k RPG lines. Although I already own pretty much everything from Rogue Trader. I am also a huge fan of board games and take them to every gathering of friends. I do already own Battle of the Bands, Guillotine, Smash Up, Pandemic, and Gloom. I really don't need any miniatures as I have boxes of the stuff sitting around my home that I picked up for a dime and don't know what to do with them all. If someone can ever find an actual copy of Warhammer Fantasy RPG 2nd ed, I would do nasty things in order to get it.

Location: Best coast is no coast in colorful Colorado.

Vow: I swear that whoever gets my gift will get something interesting, fun, and maybe even fancy. If I am matched up with someone who needs GW figures, than they better be prepared to receive the goddamn motherload.

Tomorrow, doom!
But now, tea.
Let's give this thing a try...

Gift Preferences: I'm a miniatures gamer and a space one at that; I have a lot of ships but terrain, paint, planet markers, space stations, gaming mats etc are never amiss. I'm also lacking in a lot of "classic" geek stuff. I've never owned a D&D book, for example, and my dice stockpile is shockingly lacking. Been eyeing up X-Wing Armada, too.

If you'd prefer more practical gift ideas, I'm stocking an apartment so small household items would be handy. Some kind of rug would be nice. Coffee table type books could also be fun, but please go for silly and weird over respectability.

EDIT: I've just gotten into Frostgrave, but be advised that my gift in the main round was a copy of Thaw of the Lich Lord so if you're inclined in this direction for the lightning round, I've already got the rulebooks.

Please do not give GW money, send card games or send clothing as I am freakishly tall. I prefer physical stuff to electronic items, simply for the "and this was sent to me by the Goons of Something Awful. Behold the finely-wrought goatse carvings" factor. If you must send dongs, at least make them space dongs.

Oh and please no booze.

I also have a decent collection of indie RPGs on indie RPGs, but could add more. Can't provide a list of what I have at the moment though. I would also be happy with Unknown Armies books beyond the core, because why not?

Campaign books for any of these would be appreciated. I'm pretty easy going.

Gift Preferences: I'm down with nearly anything miniatures related. Right now I'm working on some tables so any 28mm / O-scale terrain that would fit into a rural farm, 1940's Berlin, or a ruined fantasy city are all safe bets. Alternatively, older metal Warhammer (or Warmaster!) Dark Elves would be particularly appreciated.

Maybe this guy that flies is just sort of passing through, you know?

Gift preferences: Definitely something TT game related, this is the TT Game forum Secret Santa, after all. I play Cygnar, Circle, and Khador in Warmahordes and don't have anything from Reckoning or Devastation in any of those armies. I play Frostgrave, but have pretty much everything I need as far as figurines. Ditto Star Trek Attack Wing, but maybe some space station model kit to scale with them or something could be cool (not a dong one tho)

A really characterful or impressive terrain piece or two would really delight me, something I can drop on a Warmahordes or Frostgrave table to make it *pop* like a wizard's tower or steampunk steambot factory whatever. Heck, if you are crafty enough to hand-make this and make it look sweet as heck I'd love it.

A cool boardgame or self-contained card would be nice, too. Something with solid mechanics and a neat theme for 2-4 players. Something Game of Thrones, Cthulhu, Starwar themed is cool, but that's not an exhaustive list and I'm not a slave to licensed properties as far as theme.

I've been eyeing Infinity and Bolt Action Soviets, but something to start me out in either of them would probably be outside the price cap.

I don't have any of the FFG Starwar TT games and they all look pretty good, so an X-Wang starter or something wouldn't be a terrible thing to have.

I'm of age to drink booze and do sometimes, but it doesn't really thrill me and I'd really rather something to do with flopping cards on the table or hurling dice or painting little dolls or whatever.

Please, no animes or mangas. :siren: do not give GW money :siren: but like if you see a Garden of Morr that fell off the back of a truck or something....

General Location: Wisconsin, USA :burger:

vow: If I flake on this poo poo, may my strong local Warmahordes group switch to Age of Sigmar tomorrow and want to play nothing else.

I'd be happy to put my name in the hat this year!

Things I'd love:
RPG Core/Setting Books, Boxed Sets, or Adventure Modules. Older/used stuff is a-ok! I prefer more fantasy and horror leaning stuff, but mostly I just want games with a fun setting. Any system is cool.

Board and Card Games. Preferably stuff my 9 year old can play. Tarot Decks or Magic:The Gathering Cards are cool, too.

Booze or Bitters. I loves me some cocktails.

Nonfiction Books. Pretty much anything not a biography or tech/math textbook, I'll have fun reading.

Small Curios if ya got 'em. Seriously. Pinned bugs, critter skulls, cool rocks or shells, it's all good.

Would prefer to not receive:

Here's my probably incomplete BGG collection: http://boardgamegeek.com/collection/user/clanpotshake

I also like RPGs, but PDFs aren't great since my group is full of illiterates who can't read things on a screen. We primarily play 40k (no more of this please), FFG's Edge of the Empire. One year in TGSS I got Microscope and Fiasco and those were both hits.

I also own a PS4 but only really play The Last of Us (play The Last of Us) and the Uncharted series.
