Yeah I failed this week. I loving hate work and downed half a bottle of captain. Apparently even getting drugged and possibly rear end raped while passed out isn't enough to get me to stop drinking. Maybe I should go to AA or something.

I ended up being caught in a snowstorm that created havoc in central New Mexico. Me and the wife ended up sheltered in some lovely "off the highway" motel for about 20 hours. I had an entire bottle of honey mead that my brother brewed. The only thing that stopped me from guzzling that thing down was the lack of a cork-screw. Now that I'm home and full of delicious curry, I can abstain once again for two days, and let work guide me into the new year.

I failed this challenge when i drank some beer while at my aprtment, also going bar hopping with friends in NYE. But I am taking the BART/Bus to the bar and taking a taxi back because while i am a dumb rear end motherfucker I know better than to drink and drive.

I saw a sign in either NM or Texas that said there were over 2,525 DUI arrests for the year of 2015. I've done stupid poo poo but I can't say that I've ever blatantly been drunk and thought "hey I can drive 5-20 miles to my house."

Tbh, this year (and the last one) have been tough on my current unit when it comes to alcohol. Now that im an LPO at least I want to be responsible when I am out drinking.
