Is Karlos Williams worth starting either:

Antonio Andrews vs CAR
Jeremy Langford @ STL
Charles Sims vs DAL

in my RB2 slot.

I could also slot him in my Flex slot as well. Right now I have Andrews and Langford in, but I don't necessarily feel great about either of them.

I tried trading, but all I need are running backs and for some reason, people don't want Hurns. My one buddy saved me from myself though, when I tried grabbing his Lacy. He kept telling me that he spent a first round pick on Lacy, and he couldn't trade him for a waiver wire guy. I had to give him the old "It don't matter where you start, it's where you finish" speech. The same guy who told me my team is lucky because I just managed to grab Dalton on waivers in week three. It isn't luck when everyone has a chance at him, but you recognize he's a fantasy good before them. :v:

Thank god he saved me from myself.

People are dumb, Hurns is a starter in any PPR league. He's on a 6 game streak with a TD in each and a good chunk of yards to add.

He's a strong everyweek WR2 at this point and probably for the rest of the season. I wouldn't worry about his injuries unless it's real bad. Hurns has an injury every week it seems like but still plays and puts up good numbers.

quote:

ESPN's Michael DiRocco reports the "expectation" is that Allen Hurns (foot) will be ready for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

As long as Hurns doesn't get a setback i'd start him over Diggs this week. Baltimore is really really good to opposing WR's.

If you really need a RB and people don't want Hurns, i might even consider floating Diggs if anyone bites.

I've got a log-jam at RB/flex in my ESPN standard scoring league; I need TWO RBs and one flex out of the following:

Chris Ivory vBUF
Deangello Williams vCLE
Charcandrick West @DEN
Legarette Blount @NYG
Julian Edelman @NYG

Current options bolded. Ivory hasn't lit the world on fire but I have to play him every week and I'd feel dumb benching Williams after what he did last week. I've got Edelman slotted in at flex right now because he hasn't let me down all season, but sitting at 5-4 I'm wondering if I should gamble with West getting a lot of volume as an upside (Denver defense has me second guessing though). Blount can definitely put up points but he's well behind my other options in my mind anyway. Thanks for any help!

Bumping for another page, interested in opinions, especially considering my other WRs are a possibly Big-Ben-less Antonio Brown and a yet-again-maybe-gimpy Alshon Jeffrey.

Who do I start this week? I know Seattle's DST has fallen off a bit but still it's an away game against Seattle.

I'm leaning towards one of these:
Carson Palmer @SEA
Tyrod Taylor @NYJ

Also existing:
Brian Hoyer @CIN
Matt Stafford @GB
Jay Cutler @STL

Edit: Or Kirk Cousins vs NO. That may be worth the one week add.

My stupid work league has a tiny bench and I have Frank Gore on bye (and Gates, and Rivers) so right now I'm trotting out Lamar Miller and... Matt Jones.

FAs right now include:

Duke Johnson @Pit
David Johnson @Sea
Theo Riddick @GB
Shane Vereen vs NE
Charles Sims vs Dal
Marcel Reece vs Min (who I guess is a scratch since Murray is practicing)

Would you take a shot on any of these guys over Matt Jones vs NO? I'm thinking maybe Vereen? This is a 0.5 PPR by the way.

The guy I'm facing has Edelman, Cobb, AP, West, Reed and Benjamin, so I need a pretty high ceiling guy if I want to have a chance at winning this week.

I personally don't like benching entrenched starters for guys splitting time. Starks has been named the starter, but I'd bet a dollar Lacy gets plenty of carries against the terrible rush D of the Lions to try and get him on track. While Lacy was hurt and Starks had the job to himself, he put up one decent game and one dud. I don't consider him an every week player even without Lacy around to steal carries.

I don't have any faith in Rishard Matthews getting a decent amount of targets(6, 3, 12, 4 since the bye). As disappointing as Jordan Matthews has been, his targets have never diminished and the Dolphins are mediocre on pass D. I'd probably start Chris Johnson and Jordan Matthews.
