Just tried signing up for the offsite. It seemed fairly painless compared to other offsites, although the layout is a bit unfamilar. To the guy complaining that he was locked out of all the useful topics. I think the padlock symbol just means that the topic/subforum is hidden to guests/unregistered people? I was able to read those topics and post a useless test post fairly easily.
