  • IRCCloud has an app that apparently works well with their free tier of service.

Hermes is another IRC Client. Has some UI quirks, but is Material and pretty.

If you use Google Inbox instead of Gmail it's really good at pulling out orders and shipping notifications into a category and giving you icons with arrival dates and a simple tracking link.

Inbox is way better at it than plain Gmail used to be. Still doesn't catch everything, but if you're ordering from Amazon or Best buy or something like that it will usually show up.

Where is the fingerprint support? Been through the settings and can't find it.

Apparently, MediaTracker isn't under active development anymore. Does anyone have a recommendation for an app that scan in new DVDs and BluRays and provide a way to track their location? I need location because every time my shelf space fills up, I move another bunch of disks to a storage bin, and so those bins have no coherent organization scheme. Since I have the inventory in MediaTracker right now, CSV import would also be a really nice feature.

I use Libib for similar purposes, but not sure how you'd do location other than setting up different libraries and manually shifting them around. No idea about the CSV import either.

I'm pretty sure they changed it and it originally referred to GPM subscribers getting access to Youtube Music Premium.

Anyway I asked their support and got this answer back:

Google Support posted:

I know that you're concern as to what's going to happen with your current Google Play Music subscription (I am too!) so I reached out to our specialists to get some updates.

I have good news for you! I've heard back from them and have been informed that nothing will change for all our current active subscribers to individual and family plans (including Google Play Music subscribers), they will be grandfathered into Premium (access YouTube Premium, YouTube Music and Google Play Music) at your current price.

I don't really mind GPM though it's probably just hit the threshold for me of "basically good enough".

Really, the only thing I think I'd miss (aside from ad-free Youtube without jumping through hoops, but if that were the only thing keeping me with GPM, I'd be gone now) is the ability to upload my own music.

That's my feelings. I'm sure there are services that are "better", but I've been using google music since before there was a subscription and inertia is a powerful force.
