Active Raid should be interesting, at least for the handful of people who are Taniguchi fans. But rather than a mecha show, it looks like a mix of Kamen Rider and Tiger & Bunny with vague shades of Patlabor so far. The writer has done a lot of Super Sentai work and also adapted Spice and Wolf (shame about MAOYU though). Mind you, the official tagline is "Bye-Bye Common Sense!" so there will be crazy/humorous shenanigans of some kind. I hope they provide a better trailer than just the teaser, which doesn't really tell us much else at the moment. I still can't believe someone actually wanted to remake Nurse Witch Komugi-chan, bizarre original 5 episode OVA series from almost 15 years ago. Read a little bit of Ajin years ago and it didn't grab me, though I never got to the point where the MC actually uses his powers. Aside from sequels I think that's the entirety of things I'm familiar with, so no idea what the hell I'll end up watching this time around.

Interested Boko Dake ga Inai Machi: This looks like a really solid mystery show if played straight. If not... Dimension W: This is going to live and die on the strength of its execution. Let's see how this goes. Concrete Revolutio: Maybe if this is a light season, I can catch up on this! Man this is a really bland season. There's a lot of bandwagon crap along with the usual array of generic trash. And then there's Ajin's lovely CG. Cross your fingers and hope there's more than a few pleasant surprises. Interested Active Raid I am a sucker for robits Continuing Heavy Object I came for giant robot fights, stayed because it turned out to be two dudes playing metal gear solid instead.
