I finished my phd in 2015 so in 2016 i intend to kind of just be in a holding pattern professionally speaking (i have a cool post doc for at least most of the year) while i get back to some of the hobbies i neglected this past year
Namely
I did manage to camp and backpack A few times in 2015 thank g*sh but
I really dropped the ball on my garden, i said I was going to learn to knit but didn't, i haven't climbed a tall tree canopy with rope in a while (my next goal in that is to camp up there in a hammock)), i haven't played music much this year and haven't played my bagpipes in years, i haven't painted all year either that was a new thing i started in 2014 and i enjoyed it even though I'm bad
So long story short the home stretch of my phd got in the way of a lot of this so next year I want to give some attention to these things
