Missed my chance to do the OP but that's ok With the forums down, we missed the opportunity to talk about the prestigious Game Awards on Thursday night. A brief summary: Kojima had to return to his home planet, Iwata was paid tribute by some cowboy on a piano, Bethesda wanted everyone to know how much The Elder Scrolls Online is not dead, and Tim Schafer is back with another crowdfunding jam. Deadmou5 played some sort of, I don't even know what it was. It was awful. The awards themselves were really well thought out, for example Rocket League won "Best Racing Game" and Destiny was nominated for, well, anything at all, so you know it's not just a PR show!! If you missed it earlier you'll get to hear it today, but Sony is going to be bringing PS2 games to PS4. Nope, you can't use your existing physical discs. You can't even bring over your existing PS2 Classics from PS3. Some of PS4's PS2 Classics also were PS2 Classics on PS3 so naturally you should be able to-- NOPE, double dipping!!! Sony is Nintendo now I guess. So you'll never get to put your Steambot Chronicles disc in your PS4 but you will get to play Rogue Galaxy for 5 hours before getting sick of it like everyone else who's ever played it, so I guess that's a win.
