Gon's had his power "sealed" 3 times now and the previous 2 times had him come out of it way stronger. So is he gonna force his Nen out again due to emotion or learn it proper? It'd be neat to see him training with Zushi again.

Clarste posted:Considering that not only did Gon lose his nen, he also finally found his father and parted ways with Killua, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if his story is simply over. That's kind of what made the anime ending such a good stopping place. I can totally imagine Hunter x Hunter continuing without Gon at all, if it ever continues. Thing is there's still Hisoka who will force it open if need be.

I think we saw a decent enough amount of them already. Especially with basically a whole miniarc devoted to them and Zeno being a key player in the previous.

Even if someone had a big impact in your life, most normal people still wouldn't form very strong emotional attachments to them unless they spent a lot of time together. Like, there are some people I met who had a greater impact on me as a person, but I would still be way sadder and more upset if one of my close friends I grew up with was hurt/killed. He doesn't really spend too much time with Gon however he's Gon's friend and big brother figure. He also set Gon and his current path and knows he's a valued pupil of his Father and is supposed to help him find his Father. e: It's also the first time he's dealt with loss and being lied to in such a manner.

Once she saw Kite it was impossible to keep the promise. More or less "I can't bring back the dead and he died in the fight against me. I'm sorry." Pitou even deactivates her puppet on Kite to show that he was dead. Gon doesn't care about Pitou's reason. She said she'd do it.

Roland Jones posted:Hanzo was pretty much the star of the exam really. He was stronger than both Gon and Killua, and really most people there besides Hisoka, he placed well in pretty much every test, and just generally was always at or near the top. Heck, he even knew what sushi was. Sadly outside of his brief appearances during the election, he hasn't been seen at all post-exam but for the mention that he learned Nen faster than the heroes. I don't think he was stronger than Killua. Killua was basically saying Gon was bad for not being able to take him the whole time.

Clarste posted:This actually seems a bit silly to me. The idea that an experienced fighter like Uvo wouldn't think to use Gyo when things are even the slightest bit suspicious stretches my disbelief. I mean, he probably didn't go through that exact training that Biscuit did, when Gon and Killua were trained to use Gyo immediately, but it just seems like a standard precaution nen users use regularly. I'd say that fight was just meant to teach the audience how important this is, except for the fact that we already saw the exact same "hidden nen" thing with Hisoka against Castro. He was drunk, angry, and not very bright like Gon. Just look at his fight against the Mob Assassins.

That's why it'd be good for Gon to go over the basics and actually learn this poo poo proper to iron out any confusion instead of 90% ren + ten and 5% level 1 training and 5% level 5 training.
