github, the closed source, for-profit software that powers nearly all of open source. how does it succeed with this model? honestly i think it's because it's european. people trust them for their outstanding ethics not found in american for-profits, i guess. finding awful githubs is no challenge. repos with only an .md file probably outnumber the ones with working code. but if you can find one that is the funney or bewildering in some way, great. post it here to make a thread about for starters, https://github.com/WesleySafadinho/ISIS.js

there was some readme.md-onyl repo i found. made an issue about whether the project was dead and the owner said "i just made this repo to remind myself to make this one day". it was the top result on google when searching for an app of that nature. gently caress you pal!! lol
