I try so hard to like Empire but it's bad. It can be fun if you do MP battles with friends where you do silly stuff like fight all sharpshooters versus milita and see who wins, though. Also the naval battles can be fun.

There's a difference between fun and good imo. Sometimes you can have a great game that isn't very fun and a extremely fun piece of garbage

I really enjoyed Empire but I also have a huge boner for the time period and like that it lets me play in India so I may just be biased/deluded.
