DukeofCA posted:I like the way Raziel thumps Moebius on the head. He's like a school bully. Yeah, that bit's great. Is there any more self-righteous (anti)hero in a video game than Raziel? At least Kain knew what he was doing was messed up, but I don't recall him soliloquising about how evil others' crusades were shortly after butchering a hundred humans who could never hope to defeat him. Also, so many dead vampires in this area. You'd think Kain would have run into a few more in Blood Omen.

A canker is a lesion or abscess type thing, that must be what he was saying. My own complaint is about Kain's pronunciation of Nupraptor. Hang on, why am I complaining again? This was all great stuff.

KieranWalker posted:The backtracking after the Dark Forge confused the hell out of me, to the point I finally googled to see where the hell I was supposed to be going. By then, of course, I was on the wrong end of Nosgoth and had to walk all the way back yet again. I cannot imagine playing this game first time round without a guide. I probably tried it but the world just seems so open that I expect I gave up pretty quickly (I'm probably the reason Final Fantasy games became corridor simulators), especially with the puzzles. Whether it's my own laziness or stupidity I don't know. Did many other people play this game blind and just work it all out for themselves the first time round?

I didn't remember those mutants at all! But then they are pretty forgettable. Any idea what's up with the pink things on the Demon Hunters' shoulders?

I still have a few parts of this to catch up with yet (moving in with one's partner takes away a lot of important Let's Watching time!), but just wanted to note that all parts of the Legacy of Kain series (except the first Blood Omen) are currently on Humble Bundle super-cheap, like less than £1.50 in the UK.
