Speaking of good-natured things, I kind of abandoned my Chuubo F&F because nobody seemed to be reading it. I wonder if anybody has any advice on what I could do to make a review more punchy?

Well you can always do what I did and write about something Goons hate. Typing words about Pony RPGs seemed to get some dander up.

Speaking of which, that was 2 whole threads ago, I should contribute more content. :getin:

Invoking Lilith and/or Lucifer in the context of a role-playing is pretty much giving into special snowflake-ism from the get-go, though, so that's not exactly a big surprise.

So this is my first contact with Werewolf: The Forsaken and I want to work out some logic about it and beast.

Slashers and murders are bad news for an area because they taint the spiritual nature of the place.
Once tainted, really bad spirits move in and start to have a bad effect on the physical world.
Werewolves walk the line and make sure humans don't draw in the bad spirits and bad spirits don't make the physical world terrible.
Beast, by their very nature, would heavily taint the spiritual essence of an area by abusing, torturing and generally hurting people.
Iron Masters specifically choose to hunt supernatural enemies.
Werewolves also like prey that put up a good fight.

So how are werewolves and Beasts supposed to be buds again? I would think they'd draw hunting packs like rotten fruit does flies.

To be fair, the actual fiction (as was posted in the thread) in Beast about a werewolf meeting one was written in a "Well that's the kind of guy I'd be if I went totally bugfuck crazy, jesus christ" tone.

If Demons can speak any language that is spoken natively, does that mean they're all fluent in Klingon thanks to that one guy who raised his kid to speak it as a first language? Now there's a hell of a way to mess with someone spying on you.

Did D&D5 do away with the grog-standard Paladin code? Maybe this is Corporatized Edition War Part 2: Die-roll Harder?

5e D&D actually expanded the Paladin code of conduct, to give players multiple different Oaths that they can follow, to customize your character and give them a focus that fits your play style

By the way I feel like part of the charm of Aeon Continuum settings is how busted as gently caress even a starting character can be so if anyone wants to suggest some character concepts I can see how broken an incarnation of them I can make.

I mean, the fact that halflings/hobbits are usually treated as the insular community of unnoticed small folk who also universally control and make up the thieves guild does give them a sort of innate "cosa nostra" quality.
