A H'ykar specimen.

Erasmus Cotts went too far out in space and he did it alone. He set many records for solo flight and furthest distance, but he crashed on a moonlet of Saturn when he tried to explore the moons. Erasmus lived off fungus and water for nine months on a moonlet with barely enough air as he tried to rebuild his rocket. By that point, unfortunately, isolation and nutritional deprivation set in and Erasmus lost his mind. By grace of a miracle he found an alien ship and used it to rebuild his own rocket, but he hasn’t left Saturn. Now Erasmus Cotts is a madman at the helm of a hybrid ship armed with lost alien technology hunting anyone who dares enter his realm, secretly praying for death with every fight he starts.

These two bits are my fav. Poor Erasmus.

Wouldn't Columbia just kind of go off and continue it? Not like they were all that involved with WW2. Then there's that whole thing with Nazi's escaping to South America afterwards and Columbian superheroes sounds way more interesting already.

Then there's the matter of 1920's China not being 1950's China at all.

GADGETEERING, REVISITED

So delta prime puts nothing but Snuffer's in those iron-man suits, right?

Hostile V posted:

Pfft, why would you waste a fellow Delta's life? Armorgeddon pilots are soldiers or actual pilots. Again, the suit can be rebuilt if it's destroyed, the pilot is expendable. The Gadgeteer who built the suit is hard to replace and Delta Prime, in general, is not a fan of gambling the lives of other Deltas because less Deltas means less power.

Well I mean, if I here to put anyone inside a walking tank, to use against super powered criminals, it'd be peoples who's ability is to stop those powers working.

But I do see your point.

There's something about this evil shadowy conspiracy that funds/supplies/kickstarts all the bad guys that just seems, so, so dumb, and super boring.

What's the hook for players to use any of this?

What was the cause of the vampires before h-bombs and nuclear accidents?

And if you can reskin anything, and all these religious types have super similar powers, how is that not kind of a huge question about who is granting you these superhuman abilities?

So has no one heard of the risk eaters before they fire off their nuclear weapons? It seems like the kind of thing that would be terrifying for the nations of the world to realise. Space ISIS has nukes and will glass the planet if someone doesn't play be rules they haven't mentioned.

Dead Reign has some cool zombie ideas, mock zombies for one, but the overall toughness seems bizarre. I understand the appeal of making your zzombies unique, fast attack zombie is the dumbest God drat thing though, but why so super tough and with magical sensing abilities?

Not getting to take your cool character things exactly as they are sucks, but that seems pretty par so far, the game is desperate for the DM to steal whatever thing you think makes your character awesome. Like the intrusion on two weapon fighting being having the sword break or the character losing their grip like a loving Wii mote.

I played the demo of Watch Dogs 2, and that seemed to split the difference between remote and in person hacking. As long as you're in the same building, you can hack through security cameras/your 2 drone buddies, but most important things required you to physically hack them. Plus you've got a magic wand phone for doxxing randoms and stealing their cash.

Yeah, or take a page out of Invisible Inc, the party has a 'hacker pool' which they can spend on hacking devices or disabling doors and such. Load it with different abilities to alter how the pool refreshes or takes down targets.
