This is the Cassowary at Billabong Park at Port Macquarie attacking my camera when i poked it thru the cyclone wire. He is furious beyond words at his lovely little cage and apparently everyone there is terrified he will eventually kill someone. Captive Casowarys are spiteful and scheming and I dont blame them one bit

Here's my father in law being alpha as always in his Falcon ute. He used to teararse around Scone on an AJS 500, flew cropdusters and Ryan p3s and was an exhibition skydiver in the late 50s-early 60s. I have his parachute and its one of those enormous icecream cone ones He treated me like a favorite son till he dropped dead brushing his teeth a few years back You were the best Roger. e: just noticed the bluey in the back of the ute. I think this is a walleroo. This is in the Capertee Valley Glenalice. If you live around Sydney this is a great weekend destination to go bucolic. Lots of things you dont often see including the very rare Regent Honeyeater.

Phils place on the edge of the Cumbertine Wilderness. Behind there is wall to wall gently caress all for 100 km and the most rugged bushland on the eastern seaboard. It is a highly evolved multiple occupacy by hippies that actually do cool stuff like proper hippies. i wish I was young and fit enough to live there but it's a tough, isolated existence. They are all getting old now and the youngens aren't as interested as they should be. There is a chance it will merge back into the bush and disappear and I think the crew would consider that a good thing

Gotta go and do work then home to bed. It was fun going through the folders and it's always nice to see your kids growing up before your eyes.
