Did you really just use "well you haven't made a fan-film so you can't talk poo poo about mine!" as a defense?

My main problem with the film is how inconsistent the sound is. In some scenes the dialogue is barely audible and in other scenes it's decently mixed. Sometimes there's even a huge difference within a scene with one character being pretty clear and the other being way too low. I really want to thank this thread for introducing me to Truth in Journalism, "Ingmar Berman's" Flash, David Mamet's Godzilla, and Canzo Empyrean. Thank you. Also this Nightwing flick is pretty bad, though honestly it's not even close to the worst of the worst Batman fan films. I think my biggest issues with it are still what they were with the teaser, stuff is too dark/weirdly lit which obscures the actually well done fighting, and Harley Quinn is wearing the official Harley Quinn t-shirt they released when Injustice: Gods Among Us was coming out. What was the name of the Batman fan film where some guy takes down Batman by kicking him in the groin once and then he chains him up, rapes him, and gets him addicted to heroin which makes Batman kill himself?

For all those times you ever see people having the, "How do you take down Superman once and for all?/You get him to piss off Batman!" debates, I want to see the response to this. Just stride up to the conversation and go, "...and YOU know how to defeat Batman once and for all, right?"

Coincidentally I've decided to start watching through some MGS fanfilms, and I was quite impressed with some of the shots in Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy. ^POV shot from a soldier Snake has just killed. Looks even more effective in motion. ^I just thought this one was pretty. The second half of the movie was weaker visually, though I appreciate the effort. Far more enjoyable film than I expected to be honest. I really would have loved to see what the filmmakers could have done with a budget higher than $15,000, thought this does have its own charm as a result.

It's cheesy, campy, terribly shot, horrible costumes, bad acting, and a Wolverine whose bones are laced with twinkies. But it has this feel of a bunch of school kids getting together on a weekend and doing a larp. It's like the epitome of a fan movie. The Nightwing film is so turgid and self serious compared to this and the performances are not even much better.

Also it has snippets of radness, the part where one of them is trying to beat on Mr. Sinister and he says "That isn't working." and then knees him in the gut. It's cut perfectly, like if you gave some of them more time and $$$ they could make the real deal. I think that's part of why this is so much more fun and enjoyable than a lot of the fan films I've seen though, they're not trying to be something they can't feasibly be.

This Dark Descent movie is hilarious. Batman: "THE RIGHT SIDE OF HIS FACE SEEMED TO BE EATEN AWAY... UH, BURNED AWAY... AS IF HE WAS SPLASHED BY SOME KIND OF ACID." Gordon: "Orrr... extremely hot boiling water, like from a cooking pot?" Batman: "COOKING POT... LIKE THE ONE FOUND ON DENT'S KITCHEN FLOOR." Gordon: "It's all beginning to make sense!" Batman: "HIS VOICE WAS RASPY... HE MUST HAVE SWALLOWED SOME OF THE BOILING WATER, DAMAGING HIS VOCAL CORDS IN THE PROCESS."
