The depressing one is Bob Hoskins. So lovely that you can die from pneumonia in this day and age.
it's pretty common. my grandma passed away from pneumonia a little under a decade ago (drat, time flies) even though she was in the hospital during most of it. granted she was almost as old as the dinosaurs, so there isn't a lot they can do when you're old.

It's amazing that Lemmy made it as long as he did. He's the only one of the three who has had a standard call-out drink named after him., so far, but it would be cool to be able to order a Bowie at a bar.

Bowie knew he was dying and he went out with style but the most depressing part will be seeing his hologram being used in concerts/halftime shows/oscars/CNN newsroom as color commentary

of the three choices I'm only familiar with Lemmy's work so he gets my vote. I know David Bowie was a musician but I don't think Ive ever heard his music. I only know about the other dude from Harry Potter, and I was never a fan so who cares. Real talk though, the only celebrity death that really bummed me out was Fred Rogers

I alone can see through the media bias.

I'm also stupid on a scale that can only be measured in Reddits.
Its not goku. Death isnt depressing when you get free rezzes so often that you begin turning them down just for variety. And can then end up coming back to chill with your homeboys regardless of that choice just because youre so badass.

Naw, its robin williams. Dude was funny and heartful as poo poo, came to a poorly deserved end. I watched the birdcage that night tho and it helped.

Most tragicomic award goes to david carradine. The fake kung fu guy died wanking and choking in bangkok. Not a terrible end reallly but that death fits him like a glove.

But the most personally appopriate death has to go for hunter s thompson. It was the correct way for him to finish the meta-narrrative he had created.

i dont find the idea of old people dying of old age to be terribly depressing. getting old to begin with, sure, thats depressing as hell. but old people die. some of them die every second of every day, even.
