Your post made me realize that I have a strong but irrational aversion to having the same game on multiple storefronts, regardless if free copies are being given away. I guess maybe because it sort of artificially inflates the already too-high number of games I already own?

If you sign into the Big Fish club (and cancel, so that you're not charged but still get rewards for the month) every "collector's edition" of a game earns you three "punch card" punches. 6 get you a free game (but not a collector's edition). Didn't pay attention and went through the gamehouse catalog in chronological order, using Reddit codes for regular games, when I could have doubled up. You also get extra punches for redeeming your codes on a Monday (including the codes you get from the game club). You also can double-up on punches by redeeming both the Mac and PC versions of the games you get with the BIGFISHCASINO / MOBFREEAWAKENING / MOBFREERAVEN codes. The nicest feature of Big Fish though, is that you get free one hour trials of all of their games that don't specifically have a demo version. So you can see if the old versions will actually run correctly on a modern OS / resolution. Not to mention that one hour of play is more than most of these games deserve. Just chiming in to say that FtK is pretty meh as a singleplayer game but insanely fun as a local co-op title, striking a balance between JRPG, D&D and your regular boardgame.
