This month's BF Listener's Title is 2013's Companion Chronicle, The Beginning. Told from the perspective of Susan, it details the first trip of her and her grandfather after leaving Gallifrey. It avoids any continuity or over-complication of exactly why they left By having Susan basically say that she was a child and honestly didn't know why they were leaving. Speaking of continuity though, the script did undergo a minor 11th hour rewrite due to the TV show's reveal that Clara was involved in the Doctor choosing the "correct" TARDIS to steal. We don't hear Jenna Coleman's voice, but rather it's a bit of narration right at the very beginning basically saying "I heard Grandfather exchange words with a young woman and he then bustled me off into the TARDIS next to the one we were about to take". The cover art was also modified to reflect the undisguised TARDIS capsule seen in that same episode

The original 'un-chameleoned' TARDIS looked kind of over-thought. The version from the Name of the Doctor is much more elegant in its simplicity, like that thing you put your money in at a drive-thru bank.

Agreed; I much prefer the official version to the weird pyramid thing.
