Bulbasaur. Y'know, like a coolguy. Seriously, Razor Leaf carried me through a lot of that game and made Brock my little bitch. Eevee made into a Jolteon because I wanted an Electric but lmao Pikachu is lame. Hitmonlee because Bruce Lee was my idol because I was a white lower class idiot. Whichever fossil gave you Kabuto. - squirtle for a starter - helix at first but I went dome every time after since I got the prima strategy guide and found out how kabutops looked - jolteon I think - hitmonlee since he looks cooler than hitmonchan - idk what you're talking about with the pewter museum thing Squirtle is a good pick because blastoise is the only water pokemon that isn't a bitchass fucker

Bublasaur because it was super loving cute in the comics. Helix because Omanyte looked like a little Cthulhu. Flareon because it was fluffy as hell. Hitmonlee because it looked like Diglett God. The rocket was smaller than I thought it'd be. I grab cute things willy-nilly and delight at the thought of badass characters getting taken down by my candy rear end.

Squirtle because the other two evolved into dual-type pokemon which added extra weaknesses while not really adding any benefits; Charizard gained a 4x weakness to Rock and a 2x weakness to Electric, while Venusaur gained a 2x weakness to Psychic which was probably the most powerful damage type in the game, followed by Water. Helix fossil first time I played but after I just picked whatever since neither Kabutops or Omastar were strong pokemon. Jolteon since it had the highest base speed in the game, while Flareon was awful and Vaporeon didn't do anything that Slowbro couldn't do better Hitmonlee because in Red/Blue the damage type of a move determined whether that move used Attack or Special Attack, so Hitmonchan having a bunch of Elemental punches didn't mean poo poo since they scaled off his weak SpA stat.
