 What is this? It’s the newest and juiciest LP from Game Kiwi, Yakuza 2! Yakuza 2? Yes! It’s the second game in the Yakuza series. We played the first game in the series in the latter half of last year (LP Archive Link). Before the last LP AP hadn’t really come into contact with the Yakuza series. He enjoyed the last one so much that we got started with this second one as soon as we could manage. Who are you? Game Kiwi is an internet in-joke turned into a real thing. This time it's AP joining me at the wheel. AP lives in Wales, and I live in California. We’ve played a few games for the internet at this point. We’re now on this, our 3rd LP! Exciting! When will you release? We plan on releasing videos on Mondays and Fridays. There also may be bonus videos from time to time (I’m thinking about doing at least a Mahjong explanation video, and maybe for other mini-games if they warrant it.). Anything else? Not really. If you think Kazuma not killing anybody in gameplay is ridiculous in these games, you should seek out the samurai spin-offs of Yakuza (I think the LP Archive has an LP of the first one) for something really ridiculous.

This is one of my favorite Yakuza games, but it does have its drawn-out sappy moments. Yakuza 2 LPs seem to be struck with curses, so I'm rooting for you to get to the end of it

But you see, Musashi had a Ruroni Kenshin sword in that game, so everybody was just very badly injured. Not killed. It's a common misconception. I suppose its because the first game's plot was meant to be a mystery as much as anything else but so far 2 is doing a much better job hitting the ground running, even without destroying the tower (again).

Yeah. I'm fine with there being a plotdump at the end. I would just prefer that there be a significant bit sprinkled before it as well. Yakuza 2 seems much much better at doing this, which makes me happy.

A combination of a very busy week, a holiday weekend, and technical problems have made it so Episode 7 is going to be late. Sorry about that.
