double nine posted:similar to the long dark or similar to subnautica? I've never played The Long Dark, so I couldn't say. It's similar to Subnautica (survival in a beautiful but terrifying environment with some base building) but in a forest. The story is thinner, but it's a fun one.

So I'm thinking about starting the game again, never got around to finishing it the first time I played it. I got the Cyclops but kept falling through the floor and dying. Is it possible to complete the game without it?
