This can be very useful when open side by side with the JP captchas if you don't know hiragana http://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/hiragana.htm E: Apprentice can drop 13* eggs, apparently, and now I can't stop laughing at just how bad of a deal that is compared to an orbit. Saturday usually seems to be when people are available but I'm pretty much able to do it whenever if it's in the evening. I'm not really organizing anything yet, just checking to see if there's enough interest to warrant trying to organize something. We usually did Gunne trigger groups on the weekend, but dropping this on Thursday seems a bit early but what do I know. If anyone else is interested let me know when you would be available.

Allright, noted. One thing I'm wondering though is if the standard anti-farming mechanic is in place for Tokyo Explore which would sort of put a damper on how fast these could be run. On the other hand I have no idea if that kind of thing applies to Variants.

If you mean the thing where you need to kill mobs to get max boss drops, rare trigger enemies always have max drops.

I'm assuming it can drop the new stuff, but I'm not sure yet. I might hold off until I can get some kind of confirmation from the swiki because I wouldn't want to drag people into a wild goose chase if it ends up being another Guar Zigmorde (Tokyo gear is area drops again). I have quite a tendency to get ahead of myself like an idiot like this

However as far as I know the rare enemy drop bonus does also apply to area drops

Is this played better with a keyboard+mouse or a gamepad? And is soloing viable?

Len posted:Is this played better with a keyboard+mouse or a gamepad? And is soloing viable? Gamepad is best unless you use third person aiming for gunslash or ranged weapons, then mouse helps for that. You can solo almost every non emergency quest with npc partners just fine if youre decently equipped, just know if you die in a boss fight solo with no scapedolls at the end of a quest, youll fail it (you can die as much as you want before the boss fight though) Emergency quests however are designed for 12 people so youll have to join pubs, but you can join as a one person party .

Personally, I've always found a keyboard much better than a controller for this game since you can quick switch weapons/subpallets with the numpad, use an item on your subpallet with only 1 button instead of navigating through it, and attempting to do some dashing stuff on a controller is absolute hell but that probably doesn't matter much. Also, leveling up might be a bit more difficult when you're solo since there's a 20/30/40% exp gain increase when you're in a party depending on how many people are in it.

Iv'e had to re-install the entire game just because gameguard is freaking out that badly I haven't got to try Episode 4 yet, I am actually eager to see how absolutely loving ridiculous it's going to get. Iv'e been eager since TRAIN HYDRA. Does anyone know how to fix Np 1015? People say it's the item patch but iv'e done everything I can with that. I get a strange popup window related to gameguard that also tries to open an internet explorer window before starting and then NP 1015 when I try to connect to a ship. I tried re-installing all the original japanese files, everything. If I get it again after the re-install i'll screencap it.

This game is really, really relaxing so far. e: Now I can't move when I enter a quest area. The weapon HUD doesn't appear on the bottom, and the gamepad doesn't move me around either. It's not scroll lock this time, the stuff I've found online says to remove the story patch but that didn't do anything. I'm checking all the files, but that'll probably take forever so if someone has past experience with this heeeeeeelp e2: reinstalling the patch hasn't done anything, along with troubleshooting. If you have the story patch installed, uninstall it immediately. Control lock is typically a symptom of the story patch not being updated to what the current story is. This happens often so don't install the story unless you're desperately craving what horrible plot there is. InfinityComplex fucked around with this message at 23:00 on Jan 28, 2016 |
