The game is insanely well optimised. I was astounded to discover that whatever lovely laptop I had in 2012 could run it flawlessly

i should say the RAM button is cool and one of the main reasons i bought this was to drive a motorcycle around hong kong, i just find myself constantly fighting with the camera on turns.

If you're playing on Xbox RAM is set to the wrong button.

Sleeping Dogs is a great game and the atmosphere is absolutely spot on. It's exactly how Hong Kong feels when you're actually there, only you're not an average looking white guy who isn't a sadist and there are subtitles.

My only regret with the game is that by the time you unlock all the moves the game is basically over. You can replay the missions via a menu but it'd be fun to romp though the game credit to credit with the full moveset in a new game + mode.

Also in the Story with Jackie there is some really really annoying daytime horror movie cut-scene stupidity.

I like how it seems like they have the problem where the character is a cop reluctant to kill but then the player shoots and fucks up dozens of dudes, but then the case logs reveal Wei to be a sadistic psycho.

Hong Kong owns and everyone should go. If you are OK with crowds it's amazing. If you have a boderline phobia for crowds like me it's still awesome just also terrifying.

There could be any number of reasons for having a fear of crowds such as a traumatic event that may have happened to him in the past or even simply just a healthy distrust of the chinese.

That's probably why I like Tokyo so much. except the part where Japanese crowds will walk directly into you unless you're holding up a cellphone like a crucifix and pretending to read it.

I don’t like crowds because I prefer the people I see to each have a purpose beyond simple ambience. Quest givers, blacksmiths, innkeepers etc.

chinese crowds loving suck bcause old chinese women love to stop walking in the middle of a busy sidewalk. by the end of my trip i was giving them fairly hard shoulder bumps as i walked past them because they made me so mad
