Any experience in changing it out for a new one? Should I swap the tensioner as well? If I took the pully off, I'd get a new belt because there is no reason not to. The internet makes it seem like its pretty easy. If you're changing the belt, it's good insurance to replace the tensioner too. Cheap enough...

You may as well replace the tensioner too, you should be able to find a kit that has the idler pully, the tensioner and the belt for a reasonable price. It's fairly easy though there is some contortion involved. Hondas can have some tight spaces but usually they are cleverly designed to have just enough space to remove a bolt, etc. Usually. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YrKm8kH2Js

Would like to just say, I finished replacing the starter and knock sensor on my new-to-me EP3 and gently caress that. gently caress that forever. If those bitches break again I'm swapping the engine (because it still has the K20A3).
