It makes it more fun as a rooting interest, although when you wreck in such a tremendous fashion I can see how it would be frustrating to the other drivers. Hope Kahne gets back to his old self too. That was more of a restrictor plate thing so don't expect it to happen frequently

MLB teams use AAA all the time to fine tune or rehabilitate MLB level players. They even use it as a substitute for spring training, if a player is injured and can't participate in it. A/AA is where they slot players if they want to give them a chance to shine. AAA is just for polish and keeping people ready to be called up to the roster in case of injury. The only reason that players aren't more freely exchanged between the major and minor leagues more freely is the CBA limiting it, not for any sort of identity preservation.
