Assuming a given player is town, that means that person has a 5/15 or 1 in 3 chance of voting for a scum by sheer blind chance. We also know there's a serial killer about, so Mafia are going to be a little more aggressive about going for lynches instead of no-lynches, since every night that goes by is another chance that one of the Mafia gets shot. Therefore, anyone who votes a little too aggressively on someone with too little evidence is a bit more likely to be scum, and thus you can up your voting odds from 33% to 33% plus how sure you are this person's a scum based on these votes. It's not an exact science, but saying you don't know anything because it's day 1 (presumably because there's no flips or investigations) is not taking the time to stop an engage with the math and mechanics.

Based on these votes, post, whatever. For my own opinion I don't have much thought yet, but there's 24 hours to deadline. I don't think Cog is scum based on the massclaim idea.. It's possible it's a double bluff "hey guys let's out the town" or a triple bluff "hey let's look like I'm trying to be an eager young space cadet outing the scum so I can blend in" but that's not an actual play, that's something you make up for gaming_shit_that_didnt_happen.txt. I'm not super sold on that though so if he is pulling something like that, more power to him. I don't think enough people have made enough serious posts to have any worthwhile opinion thus far.

Anyway I think KB is scum because that vote on ANarc was way too easy. It's partially meta on both of their parts, but I wouldn't expect KB to jump on an easy vote, especially when ANarc says questionable things and makes questionable votes all the time. I expect more of him, basically.

One, you are just wrong, or Two, you are scum and after seeing my gut read performance on Rarity in our last game together you are scared of my ability to catch scum and want me gone.  I should point out, that that gut read vote on Rarity was based on almost nothing, just my own read of her tone and meta. So you saying my vote on Anarc was too easy also rings false.

I'm not voting you for having no reason, just a bad and dumb reason, so talking about how you've voted for less doesn't really apply. I also don't have any particular read on ANarc right now. I think her vote was bad, and her turning it around on gulag was dumb, but I've seen her be lynched over something like that before as town, so I don't necessarily think that they are scumtells like they would be if someone else did it.
