The 2017 Tubbs fire (the one that decimated parts of Santa Rosa) was also caused by PG&E power lines. so that's 2 wildfires in as many years, plus the pipeline leaks and explosions in Richmond

Tonic water is a sparkling water that, traditionally, containes dissolved quinine. quinine is an anti-malarial. Malaria was a big concern for the British colonizers of India (and other tropical areas we did an imperialism against). as is the British tradition, we "solved" that concern by binge drinking.

THE EASIEST WAY TO SOLVE HOMELESSNESS IS TO GIVE UNHOMED PEOPLE HOMES (check out "housing first" programs for citations.) confiscate the investment properties, airbnbs, vacation homes, and vacant condos and give them to people who don't have homes

InediblePenguin posted:I'm sorry you feel that way because as a trans person I do feel like you're saying that trans existence in this thread is the true source of the problem because if we trans people just wouldn't exist in public then no transphobes would ever talk about us and you wouldn't have this problem. Later! yeah the solution to "we keep arguing about whether trans people deserve human rights or not" isn't to ban discussion of it, it's for the people who believe trans folk don't deserve human rights to gently caress all the way off, with mod help if they wont do it themselves ETA: not editing this out, and willing to eat a 6er for this because transphobes don't deserve protection, it's the people that they hurt who deserve protection ChickenOfTomorrow has a new favorite as of 18:12 on Sep 27, 2019 |

private insurers would significantly shrink, but the public/single-payer would grow since it's now serving many more people and needs to build capacity. e.g. for M4A, Medicare would be hiring.

The "Daily Stormer" site exists and is hosted by VanWaTech, who also host 8chan/kun and Q websites. Here's a graphic that shows the IPs assigned to VanWaTech as of October 2020 and the sites to which they resolve: VanWaTech is owned by a scumbag named Nick Lim. VanWaTech has lost most of their peering options, as companies understandably don't love to do business with hosts for sites like Vanguard America, lolis[dot]xyz, incels[dot]net, maga[dot]host, 8kun, and QArmy[dot]net. The only provider connecting them now, i believe, is a Russian internet company called DDoS-Guard. (Fun fact: DDoS-Guard also host Hamas' website.)
