All the major news sites are saying Mother 3 will get an English release on the Wii U VC, but we all know the truth. How will you cope when Nintendo doesn't do this? How red will the streets run when gamers commit mass suicide? Am I the only one pissed there's no Mother stages on Smash U besides loving Onett again?

You joke now, but we all know Nintendo not releasing Mother 3 to the Wii U Virtual Console in the European and North American regions will be the thing that breaks the will to live.

It's a good game if you liked Earthbound or games similar to it, so if hell freezes over and it does get an official release you should give it a try. If you didn't like Earthbound though you probably won't like Mother 3 either.

Some big differences here and there, but the battle system's pretty similar and it's still got the same sense of humor, the only big difference is the story's got much more of an emotional punch. If you wanted Earthbound to make you cry it's worth a play but otherwise you probably won't like Mother 3.

I probably would have liked it more if I was playing an emulated version with a speed up button Battles are a bit streamlined now, numbers and most other things pop up Final Fantasy-style rather than in text boxes, and if you're good at rhythm you can tap along to the beat of the music to do extra damage. If you actually use buffs and debuffs battles should go pretty quickly compared to Earthbound.

No Such Thing posted:two years ago someone broke into my house and stole my wii, my trombone, and my tupperware, luckily i had two wiis, but i really do miss my trombone. Does Wii Music have the trombone, if so you could do that.
