In case you weren't aware, the episode of Seinfeld where George quits his job dramatically, then decides to go back into work like nothing happened, is taken verbatim from Larry David doing the same thing as an SNL writer. During his time on the show, he got precisely one sketch on the air. That he went on to write two of the most highly-regarded television comedies (Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm) is less an indictment of SNL, I think, and more of just very blatant evidence that David writing for SNL was a bad fit in the first place. That being said, he should slot in perfectly fine to whatever gets thrown at him here. In case you haven't heard, by the way, not only is it super obvious Larry David will be playing Bernie Sanders again, but all signs point to Sanders himself showing up too. Her previous episodes have been characterized by her being game for anything but the writing being less than stellar. The header looks real real nice in Dark Mode on the Awful App. I kinda hope Bernie doesn't show up. Though I love him and I love SNL, they don't seem like they'd go together well. We'll see.
