There is no in-mission story in the maps except Colorado, sort of. Oh, and the tutorial.. There is a vague storyline told via cutscenes that involves other people than 47 and has some tangent relationship to the missions and goes nowhere. It's not good, it's not bad, I'd say it's just there except it's not even there either.

Maybe trigger the evacuation with the bodyguard's phone? After a while the guards leave them alone in the safe room and I don't think anyone comes in. You can probably shoot them both before they see you.

The one with the saber is fun. One thing I' d like about assassination is to validate the next level (s) if you already fulfilled the new conditions in your last run. Yesterday I went to the sauna at my hotel, alone, stayed a little longer than I probably should have and when I tried to get out, weakened, could not pull the door open. I must confess images from the Hokkaido level flashed before my eyes and the gross Yakuza lawyer pounding against the glass before I remembered to push instead. Felt pretty silly afterwards.
