I'm rather enjoying Bald Man simulator, I've not played Hitman since Blood Money so it's like coming home to me, I don't care that its episodic either, what's already here is fun and the Paris fashion show stage is massive, plenty of ways to do things, or just go hog wild and shoot the place up.

I've now finished every single Assassination Challenge on the two Training missions, doing a Silent Assassin, Suit only run of the Final Test was surprisingly easy once I realized you could just climb up a pipe and go through a window and be in Jasper Knight's office, bypassing the entire base.

So I just finished the first Sarjeevo Six mission where I had to kill the Security Chief in the Paris mission, it's almost comically easy to get silent assassin if you are willing to wait around for a while for the guy to walk from the top of the building down to the security room in the basement kitchen area.

Doing a Suit only run of Paris is going to be a harrowing experience, it may very well end up with me going guns blazing when I inevitably get caught but its a risk I am willing to take.

So I didn't feel like doing my usual sneaky routine in Paris and decided to see how many people I could kill before I got completely rumbled and killed, and I actually finished the mission, I just tossed a knife at Dahlia and shot Victor as he was being escorted to the safe room, I actually did most of the killings dressed as the Sheikh who came running when I turned on a radio in the bathroom.

It was fun to not care about stealth and just murder everyone in your path and doing it in ways that don't get you spotted, and if you do get spotted, killing them before they can alert anyone else.

Sneaking around constantly in full view of NPC's gets you a load of pretty funny dialogue, though don't hang around too long or people will get too suspicious and potentially blow your cover.

Hey I've got one remaining challenge in Final Test and I'm not quite sure how to set it up: "A Slide Mistake". I feel like an idiot not being able to figure this one out, can someone give me the broadstrokes on it?

Find the projector slides in the downstairs area and head to the projector in the upstairs room and look for an off switch, the rest will soon follow.

Turning on the Clock Radio in the bathroom seems to attract the Sheikh's attention for some reason, even though he is nowhere near the bathroom and takes quite a long time to reach it.

Now that I have reached Mastery 20 in Paris, I think its time for a Suit Only run, luckily this challenge doesn't require silent assassin so I can just blitz my way to Viktor and Dahlia with the biggest gun I own.

So in Marrakesh I found the Banker really easy to kill silently but the General was much tougher to do, I ended up throwing a sword at him and crouching behind a desk while the Soldiers wandered off in alert mode, the main problem with killing the General is that there seems to always be one soldier in line of sight at nearly all times, the school building is full of busted walls for people to see you through.

Good level, though not quite as good as Sapienza as it doesn't feel quite so open to experimentation on a first look. Found getting around felt a lot easier, though the embassy has some ballbreaker guards in real pain in the rear end spots.

I finally got Silent Assassin/Suit Only on The Idol, getting into Bosco's trailer and killing him was the easy part, getting back out again without being seen was the hard bit, there's at least 5 people who can see the trailer at nearly all times, I took out the guard who watches over the Demolition stage area previously and had to throw coins to get the woman who stands near him to face away so I could climb down the trailer ladder, it took nearly a dozen reloads but eventually I was able to escape unseen.

I was poking around in a shed by the house when the target with the Michael Myers mask on wandered in and I threw a wrench at him and then snapped his neck, easiest contract kill yet.

So, the cutscene after the mission ended: Nothing much was said about who the Shadow Client was but it may have well been a blank screen with TO BE CONTINUED written on it for all that was said in it, though I'm guessing we'll be diving into 47's childhood judging by the photo Diana was given, unless that was the Shadow Client, but as I said, nothing was really explained, it was just 2 people being vague to one another

Also, poisoning stem cells with blowfish is a hilarious way to kill a man.

Good news for all Hitman fans, IO are independant and own the rights to Hitman.

http://www.ioi.dk/the-future-of-ioi/

quote:

In its 19 years of history, Io-Interactive has brought you original and exciting entertainment; from Mini Ninjas and Freedom Fighters to gaming’s most notorious criminals Kane & Lynch and of course our beloved Agent 47. With our latest game, we have not only transformed Hitman, but also moved our entire studio into the AAA digital era. Our live product has disrupted the video game business and has received recognition and praise from press, community and our fans.
There are many tales of hope, dreams, hardship and joy within these walls. We have never strived for the expected or predictable. Instead, we are always in pursuit for what feels original and real. Our passion and determination has never been greater and so that is why we have decided it is not the time to stop as we have many more exciting and original tales to tell.
Therefore I am proud to announce today that IOI is now officially an independent studio. We have successfully concluded our negotiations with Square Enix and have agreed to a management buyout. Crucially, we will keep all of the rights to the Hitman IP.
This is a watershed moment for IOI. As of today, we have complete control over the direction for our studio and the Hitman IP – we’re about to forge our own future and it’s incredibly exciting. We are now open to opportunities with future collaborators and partners to help strengthen us as a studio and ensure that we can produce the best games possible for our community.
I would like to say a big and sincere thank you to all of our players, community, friends in the media and everyone else connected to the studio for the messages of support that we have received in the last few weeks. I would also like to thank Square Enix; it has been a great family to be a part of and we are proud of what we have achieved together in the last eight years. IOI started as an independent studio and we will now return to those roots with an extremely passionate and talented team.
We are counting on the continued support of all our players; simply by having fun with everything we’ve released so far for HITMAN – and we want to encourage more of you to try our game. We have more details to come on our plans for that next week.
Thank you.

Hakan,
Io-Independent
