This is fantastic - my only complaint is some events not happening until you're there to witness them. I'm having to play it on the lowest settings imaginable because my graphics card is terrible and I'm still having literally hours of fun with two tiny maps. I've been compiling videos of all the different ways I've completed the second mission, if anyone needs convincing of its non-linearity. Hopefully I'll have a proper graphics card by the time the first episode is out.

But so far, with only two missions released, this is probably better than Blood Money. The game itself is solid as gently caress, my only complaints come from the online stuff not working like it should. But hopefully that all gets ironed out soon, they've been making progress as they go.

I went up the barge with the rifle, shot him as he was headed to the side door and then went full Charles Whitman on the security team before I ran for the chopper. I got about seven points but it was a lot of fun.

I got screwed out of silent assassin on the elusive, it seems when you poison someone it counts as a noticed kill for a few seconds before "unnoticed kill" comes up in the corner. If you leave the map during those few seconds you don't get SA.

I tried starting in the school and racing up the drainpipe to strangle her but I could only get to the roof as the soldiers arrived. I followed them all off the roof, raced across the map, dropped the sign on her, got accident kill and exited only to hear "hey you!" as the cutscene started. Failed SA for being spotted.

DeathChicken posted:Speaking of, the timed escalation on the first mission is irritating me in that regard. The usual method of luring Captain Doofy behind the fences chews up too much time (and it doesn't seem to be a given some guard or another won't go back and wake him up before I get back in time to stab him disguised as a sailor). If I leave him be, he seems to head onto the boat and out of my reach just as I make the loop all the way around from killing the cameras/knocking out a guard/going upstairs/knocking out the sailor/getting a knife/going downstairs/killing the target guard/switching disguises/back to the start and Captain Doofy. You're on the right lines and there's plenty of time, just try not to get flustered. While we're on the subject, what makes that guy board the boat? I tried all sorts doing that escalation and couldn't make it happen reliably.

Tippis posted:Old ETs don't count for the new unlocks they introduced last month, so I'm guessing you got one of those. All ETs you've completed should count for the old ET challenges (5, 10, and 13 ETs total). WindyMan posted:They've added a new set of suit unlocks based on how well you do in Elusive Targets. You can unlock a level-specific suit for completing an ET in each of the six levels. Additionally, you can get additional suits for Silent Assassin ratings during ETs, starting from the previous ET (#14). One of the challenges is for doing one SA ET (which you just got), another is for five SA ETs. There will be a many elusive targets in the future for you to have plenty of opportunity to unlock the rest of the suits, so no worries.

What is the point of the exterminator opportunity in Bangkok? I followed it all the way through and now instead of being on the top floor of a hotel full of guards, the target is unconscious in an atrium full of guards and I'm still no closer to killing him.

I'll have a look for the master key but my main problem is I can't seem to go anywhere without someone seeing through whatever disguise I'm using. I'm up to mastery level 9 and I feel like I've learned literally nothing useful for when the time comes to try SASO either. I'm really not looking forward to Colorado.
