I love the random dialogue they throw in that basically tells you the disguise is working. "Looking good there, security man" or "Why don't you go back to the kitchen, waiter ". My favorite though was once I was choking out this guard and he says "Aww no...gurk... it's my...gak....daughter's birthday...!" The game has some great dark humor.

Since the really nice suits require SA they're probably meant to appeal to people who want to pull off Suit Only runs in style.

I wish doing so didn't rely on so much gimmicky coin antics

I thought Suit Only runs required you to use the original 47 suit, and the others didn't count towards it. Will any of the unlocked starting suits work?

I'm coming round to the dialogue. At first (and I still do, I guess) I had a big problem with the lovely remarks you get from wearing disguises.

I can't remember them off by heart, but they're generally like "Hey Mr waiter, you are a waiter."

"Hello security man, you are keeping us safe."

I think I like them specifically because they're so goofy. 47 is a giant bald dude with a bar code tattooed on his head, the idea that he's also this master chameleon that no one notices is unrealistic as hell, so the over the top dialogue that basically says "I am fooled by your disguise" makes it funny to me.

They only thing I wish they spend more effort on was the accents, it's a little jarring to hear an American say "Hey buddy ya wanna buy a rug?" while wandering a market in Marrakesh.

Does the game treat the huge Paris & Marrakesh crowds differently? There's hundreds of people that don't really move and don't show up on a map, and other than turning to look they rarely react to anything around them.

Elusive Targets are going to keep being added for a while, right? I've only got 2 so far so I've got a ways to go to get the 13 challenge. I'd also assume that maybe they'll unlock the old ones at some point, like when Season 2 comes out, but they're constantly stating "GONE FOREVER" so maybe they really mean it.

Do you still only have 48 hours on an ET after you start it? I'm going away for the weekend and won't be back until Monday night, I'm wondering if I have time to do an attempt today before I leave or if I should save it until I get back.

If I watched the video did I already start the timer? :ohdear:

When you drop weapons for guards to take away, do you need to be hidden or can you just pull it out and drop it? Assuming I'm in a guard costume and allowed to equip guns.

It'd be nice if the piano wire or syringes could be used on sitting people. I had gotten the Food Critic's guard out of the room and it was just me and the target, but I'd have to bump into him to get him to stand up and then he'd just stare at me until sitting down again.

Is Silvio Caruso lurking anywhere in Landslide? I know he's mentioned as the guy who hired you, was just wondering if you can interact with him somehow.

Was finishing up some mastery challenges in World of Tomorrow last night. I started as a chef in the kitchen and as soon as I stopped blending in the guy across the counter from me shouts "HEY CHEF" and waves. I like to imagine he's been doing this for the entire shift and 47 is getting really loving tired of it.

Also it's a shame there's no mastery challenge for killing Francesca with her own virus. Seems like such a cheeky 47 thing to do.

Managed to get SA on the ET. Got her in her bedroom like pretty much everyone else here. I hid her body but thought I was boned when her guards came in unexpectedly, fortunately they didn't think there was anything weird about her machete & safe key lying in a pool of blood on the floor. The safe was a little trickier, had to pull the fire alarm twice to get both the safe contents and erase the security footage. The winter coat is mine!

One small pet peeve, I wish you could still do 360 instinct vision when you're hiding in a container. I could see the target was in the room with me but she was just out of visual range and I couldn't tell what way she was facing.

My first time playing Marrakesh was for the Angel of Death ET, which I got SA on by shooting a sign so it fell on her. I went in totally blind, which was a lot of fun since not even the minimap tells you the target's location. If the ET is close to expiring and it's a level you've never played, might as well do it anyway. Plus it's probably the *~purist's~* ideal way to play an elusive target.

:same:

It was a cool way to get introduced to ETs, having only one chance at it along with not knowing the map and having zero unlocks just added to the stress of it. I got lucky with the sign, too, I don't think I knew yet that SAs didn't count if you kill any non-targets and wasn't trying to not hit her guards.

If you don't want to skip ahead, there are probably a bunch of videos on youtube showing how to finish the ET without Hokkaido's unlocks. It's not as much fun as trying to figure it out yourself, but it's an option since you're under a time crunch and ET's don't leave much room for error.

Small hint though: the hospital director will grab some sushi off the counter in the restaurant. Afterwards he will walk and stand near an empty-ish bathroom, within earshot off anything that might fall on the floor.

Pretty sure that scientist stays put, but they aren't in the main church building. I don't remember what the clue you read says. That said, there's at least three other ways to accomplish what you need her access thing for anyway.

How do you help him succeed? Take out his tail?

The video says he wants to get Sato, but he keeps getting stopped by the guards near the makeup area. So I methodically took out each of the guards that would stop him, but then he just stops himself at the barriers. The only difference is there's no dialogue. I get that they don't want to explicitly tell you what to do, but Diana's hint points you in a completely wrong direction.

His description talks about how he will be escorted out of secured areas if spotted by guards. His video talks about how he is trying to find his way past security.

The video says he's after Sato, who is in the makeup area. The makeup area has two guarded entrances, the ET tries both and gets stopped. If you take out all the guards he... still stops. Just stands there looking at his phone. Because he wants to get in the basement for some reason?
