Sounds like it's the wrong one (the case here?) or maybe the heads have been planed too many times, bringing their slanted intake port faces too far apart. From what I hear it's a pain in the dick to get the valley *and* head interfaces to all seal at once on some V8s due to the angles. Can't wait till I have to do my first...
