More blind speculation!

One possibility I came up with is that the protagonist in Upsilon is indeed a brainscan copy, but one implanted into a robot of some description. It might explain the weird spots of postcognition/psychometry going on at those... terminals? Stations? Either way, he'd be picking up incidental recording. Heck, he could be one of the crazy robot machines that he's trying to avoid. I dunno. Sounds adequately horror cliche.

I watched the Two Best Friends LP for this game and they, being Canadian, were pretty impressed by how faithful the recreation of Canadian spots is (like the subway). Especially for a game made by Swedes working mostly from home.

You never get harassed for money or a cigarette. It's not a perfect facsimile.
