I was watching some live performances of new songs from back in 2012 and although it's a long time ago now I really hope all these tracks make it onto the new album and are just as good as the live versions because they're all excellent. In the video Thom says that Identikit is his favourite of these, and he's right. A pretty solid lock for the album.

Radiohead's statement mentioned that they wanted credit to go to 'all the writers of Creep' so they are clearly acknowledging that it's already a song for which credit is shared.

Where I End And You Begin suffers from being a gloomy number in the middle of a gloomy run of songs on a gloomy album. It'd stand out far better slapped in the middle of In Rainbows or TKOL or AMSP.

Volte posted:It doesn't feel much like AMSP to me at all. If anything it reminds me of Anima in places. I really like it a lot. The Same in particular feels like it could fit in on Anima. Don't know track names but there are tracks very reminiscent of Identikit and Tinker Tailor (separately).

Saw The Smile live. Really really good. As is traditional when seeing Thom and Jonny live they hosed up one song and gave up half way. Debuted a new song, Friend of a Friend. Was quite upbeat. They closed with Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses, the best version of it I've heard by a mile (including the original Reckoner version and the Thom solo effort).
