gently caress the world and its inhabitants. There was no loving chance of getting tickets in the UK. Sounds like the Roundhouse shows could be half empty though, seeing as the band just confirmed that IDs will be checked on the door. People will have paid One Thousand English Pounds and will be turned away.

Loved the song but I wish Thom's vocals were pushed to the forefront a bit more. They get a bit drowned out.

The way his voice cracks at 'your tiny house'. Yeah this album doesn't sustain the punch that Burn the Witch starts, and won't be what everyone wanted, but it's god drat beautiful. Like a gentle giant. stev fucked around with this message at 22:12 on May 8, 2016 |

Releasing an album just before summer doesn't make it a summer album. Not one of Radiohead's songs is suitable for a beach. Gorillaz aren't exactly upbeat either. And their album definitely wont be out this summer.

All the songs he mentioned are great, but none of them match Weird Fishes, House of Cards or Jigsaw either. All Radiohead songs and albums are cool and good and it's okay for everyone to like them. Except Pablo Honey.

For as long as I've loved True Love Waits, I've been certain he said 'To have your babies', rather than 'To have you be at peace'. It sounds exactly like that in both versions. I can't hear 'be at peace' no matter how hard I try. They have such different connotations.

A quick scan of lyrics sites has about 70% listing 'be at peace' or 'be at peace'. I assumed that was the accepted fact after looking at them more this week.

Another art piece dropped today. I hope these are daily because they're loving gorgeous. The fire one seems to be a companion piece to The Numbers (Stanley Donwood posted this a while back), so if that's the theme I'm guessing this is Glass Eyes.

I'm thinking Desert Island Disk. I really, really love these. I remember Donwood saying that the album's cover was made at least partially using the weather. I wonder if that's true of the whole series. If so I'd love to see how they were made some day.
