It's a decent tune, which makes it completely inappropriate for the movie, which is crap.

Is there a correlation between quality of Bond song and quality of Bond film though?

Radiohead's not the first band/artist/organization/whatever to do this sort of thing on social media, but hopefully we'll know something in the next day or two. Any longer than that and people forget about it.

Then again, this is Radiohead so who the hell knows if they think like that/care

Drawing a blank on another band right now, but an example off the top of my head: sports teams that are preparing to unveil new shirts, branding, whatever. They switched their primary photos to a blank color.

Granted, they didn't go so far as to erase all their posts and tweets, which I guess I don't really understand. It's not like they 86'd their accounts all together.

I'm the dork who enabled mobile notifications for @radiohead so I was surprised to read that it was "released" before they said anything; happy to wait another hour if there's an option beyond Google Play

An open-air show on April 5 in KC could be pleasant, or it could involve sleet (or a lot of wind, which can/will mess with the soundsystem and make a band sound like they're underwater)

I saw them in the very same venue five years ago (in March); actually a decent place to see a show. About a week later they also played an arena show in Phoenix of all places.

Don't sulk, goons. I guess I was just lucky. I am (present tense) daydreaming (nice dream) that it will be another great show. I might be wrong, but I doubt I'll be let down.

Little by little, April 5 will get here. All I need is patience.

Not sure why you're spoiler-tagging all that, but uh, I was surprised how great the live renditions of "Burn the Witch," "Ful Stop" and "Identikit" were (OK, I heard them do the last one when they were in KC five years ago, but I wasn't as familiar w/ it as I am now).

I dunno; I think it would've been out of place on OKC, but that's the case for a lot of the B-sides for me, too
