I can't remember others) that're hardcoded only to hit characters in certain states. Elphelt's 5H can't hit crouchers for example, and even Potemkin, the largest character in the game, isn't so tall that the animation clips through him when he's crouching. The issue comes up when people do crouching normals that raise their hurtbox up (like Johnny 2H, Slayer 2H, etc) and still don't get hit by it, but those are relatively niche cases.

also in gg characters are rendered in front of each other and look like 2d images so even when this does happen it doesnt look nearly as weird

In return he gets extra health, and the longest and largest normal hitboxes in the game. If anything, his height is an advantage.

They just didn't put the same effort and care in their character animations (or anything, really) as Arcsys does. Animations were actually the one thing SFV did really well before Cammy's air throw etc. (You could argue that the facial animations are poo poo but look at the meshes they had to work with)

Anyone else running into a rare issue where Abigail can't do anything from his command run? No matter what you hit, he just keeps running forward. Only ways out are either the auto-punch at the end or if he gets attacked out of it. On a Hori FC4 that's only about a year old. I know that's like 48 in Hori product years, but the buttons work fine all other times.

If you're doing a reversal you're not cancelling pre-jump frames into the move. Also 8 pre-jump frames is loving ridiculous. Does he even have a 360/720?

So I fired this up again and didnt get the 50k bp I heard was available. Do I have to do something to get the credit? Also, I played about 20 matches. The DLC way of obtaining characters really shows now. I saw 15 matches with release characters, two akumas, two balrogs, and one juri The characters are simply too expensive - money and in-game acquiring wise Really dissapointed. I was hoping to play some eds, kolleens, abigails since I havent played since Akuma came out and just wanted some flavor. I cant pick the chars myself bcz I'm not going to spend money on this game, but I had no problem and expected to see some matches with the new characters, but apparently other people aren't buying the new characters either Nothing Dead game is p dead
