So I'm really curious to see where this game goes! The first time I played Ocarina of Time, I was unable to get past the room in the Deku Tree where you have to light a torch with a Deku Stick. The idea that it's a thing I could do never occurred to me, and so there I remained stuck until I just gave up and never touched it again for a long time. Similar thing happened to me with Link to the Past, too, in the desert temple—I could not figure out how to deal with the entrance that has a beamos and a shut door. Kids can be dumb as hell, and you are not alone.
